One drain for most showers
A linear drain collects water along one edge of the shower area, so the floor only has to fall in one direction. That lets you lay large tiles without cutting them into an envelope pattern, and build a level-access shower with no tray.
The Luxdrain STR is made for that kind of bathroom. Its stainless steel channel is 70 mm wide and comes in nine lengths, from 40 to 120 cm. The whole drain, trap included, is 75 mm high.

Grade 304 stainless steel
The channel and grate are grade 304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion. Choose a brushed or a polished finish.

Reversible grate
Plain steel on one side, a recess for a tile insert on the other. Turn it to whichever side suits the floor.

A polypropylene trap with a 30 mm water seal and a flow rate of 32 l/min. The whole drain, trap included, is 75 mm high.

Lift the grate and the trap is cleaned from above, without breaking up the floor.

The drain is made in Poland to the European standard EN 1253 and carries a 10-year guarantee.
A grate you can turn over to take a tile
The Revers grate has two sides. The plain stainless steel side suits a bathroom where the drain is meant to show as a clean, deliberate detail. The other side has a recess for an insert of the same tile as the floor, leaving only a slim steel outline.
The choice is never final. The grate lifts out and turns over at any time.

Every length comes in both finishes. You choose the finish on the product page in the shop.

Mirror-polished steel. It catches the light and sits well next to shiny taps and fittings.

Brushed
Brushed, matt steel. Water marks show less on a matt surface.
A low trap, cleaned from above
The trap is flat and long, so the whole drain, trap included, is only 75 mm high. Its 30 mm water seal keeps drain smells out, and it carries 32 litres a minute.
To clean it, lift the grate: the trap is reached from above. The trap outlet is 40 mm across, and a reducer comes in the set.
Nine lengths, from 40 to 120 cm
Every length has the same 70 mm channel and the same trap, and every drain is drawn to the same scale. Pick the grate next to a length to go to that drain in the shop, choose the finish and see the current price.

How it goes in

Set the height
Mark the finished floor level and level the channel on its adjustable feet.

Connect the trap
Connect the trap to the waste pipe, using the reducer from the set if you need it.

Screed and waterproof
Lay the screed with a fall towards the drain, then waterproof the floor, joining the waterproofing to the drain with the sealing collar.

Tile and fit the grate
Tile up to the edge of the channel, then fit the grate, steel side up or with a tile insert.
